Why the big glasses? Did those glasses that covered half of my face help me see better? Why the permed hair? Why the orange and brown bedspread Mom? Why in the world would I even post this? Maybe it's so you can see how far I have come. I don't know if the gray hair is better than the permed, but I tell myself it is.

To be fair to your mom, the bedspread looked pretty good at the time. And the glasses look much better than the plain black ones we had to wear.

Totally had the big glasses too but they were purple!! Why..... Isn't it nice we have come a long way!!

Oh the 80's! Love the big glasses and permed hair! Those were some ugly times but you were still cute. I would take your grays over my grays!

I can't believe nobody has commented on the excellent woodwork that is behind you to your right. The walnut is just amazing. I bet it is now a part of a wonderful piece of well-loved furniture.
We have come a long ways! I love the glasses! I had the big hair, glasses, and braces! A beauty waiting to blossom! I didn't get contacts or my braces off until I was sixteen! I will show you a picture, but for a price!
