Day Three--Animal Kingdom

I'm still finishing up our Disneyworld pics...I've been a slacker lately. On day three we went to Animal Kingdom and I was just plain not in the mood for another park. Isabel was freaking out in the morning which pushed me to the "freak out" stage but we headed out anyways.

Here is the Mt. Everest ride. Mattison and I rode on it. Mattison went 3 times and loved it.
Some of the older kids went into the Dinosaur ride and the little ones just got their picture taken.
Isabel, Ethan, Meg and Jyllian rode on the little dinosaur ride a couple times. The line was short so we didn't mind doing it twice.

We went on a safari ride. It was very good to see all the live animals. I don't really know what Meg was thinking in this picture.

Isabel and Mattison looking at some animals.

Playing the drums.

More drum playing.
Mattison with the Coca Cola sign.

Silly video of some crazy girls.

Overheard

Last night at Isabel's soccer game we overheard one of the coaches talking to a girl saying "Kim, don't be afraid of number 13." and then she said to another coach "eveyone is afraid of 13". Good job Isabel. But then again...she cried whent they didn't win. We definately need to work on sportsmanship.

Day 2--Hollywood Studios

Day 2 started off pretty good too. Everyone was excited, except Isabel...who really was done half way through the first day. She didn't adjust well to Florida time. We went to Hollywood Studios on the second day. I liked it a lot. It was not as crowded and there were big shows to get into so the lines weren't as long. We went on a Back lot tour and also saw a really cool Stunt show.

Here I am with my nephew Dominique before entering the park.

Look at that excitement on Mattison's face.
Janae and me...still very happy mommies.

This was actually the end of the day. There were only a few of us left. We waited around all day for our time on Toy Story and then when we went over to it, it was closed. Since my kids wanted to go back and swim, my dad took them back. The rest of us stayed and went on the Rocking Rollercoaster. We actually got into the Toy Story ride later...just don't tell the kids.

Here is my mom and me on the Rollercoaster. This was our second time. She loves the Rollercoaster.
This is my brother-in-law Mike after the first ride and right before the second ride. My sister Karen is pregnant so she couldn't go on those fun rides. Bummer...but at least she has a husband. You know I'm laughing while I'm writing this.
Mattison was awesome on the big rides this time. Here we are at the Tower of Terror acting scared with my niece Jasmine. I really loved my fanny pack!
This was the first shot where I said "act scared". Jasmine did a good job...Mattison looks more worried than scared.
Hollywood Studios has a really cool "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" playground. The kids had fun running around there for awhile.
I even got a few pictures of Isabel without her hands on her face. And, what's that...maybe a little half smile.
Meggy Boo on the slide. Good times!

Disneyworld--Day One--Magical Kingdom

We just got back form Florida and what a trip it was. My parents were awesome and took all of us...all paid for. Who could ask for more? The plane ride there was an adventure itself because the girls don't really remember flying and it was Meg's first flight. These pics aren't in a really good order...I'm still pretty tired to figure them out the right way.

Here we are at the beginning of day one.

My moms favorite ride is the Pirates ride. She really does love Johnny Depp too. Just ask her...she won't deny it.
The end of the day with Donovan. He doesn't get tired, just crazy.

Mattison was mad I made her ride the Carousel ride...but the line was short so jump on.
Here's Isabel. You can tell because her hands are in front of her face.
Mattison and mom at the end of the day waiting to get on the train back to our car
Waiting for Space Mountain. We are really scared!

Mattison and Me waiting for Space Mountain. Mattison went for all the big rides this time. It was fun to do them with her. She wouldn't do them the last time we went to Disneyland.
Meg and Jyllian being crazy waiting in line for the Dumbo ride.
Meg wanted to go on the Tea Cups all day long. We finally made it over there, and she loved it.
It's a Small World. Do these big kids look excited to go on this ride?
Meg playing on the playground while others went on Splash Mountain. She has some made tongue skills. She can touch her tongue to her nose.
Isabel wasn't excited to go on Pirates so Grandpa sat next to her and was scared too.
Mattison and Jasmine wanted the front row seat on the Pirates ride.
The Jungle cruise
Grandma and Grandpa with the kiddies before we went into the park.
Getting ready to walk into the park.

Off to Florida

And we are off to the land of sun and fun to spend some time with these crazy characters and also the crazy Lott family in Florida. We are so excited for a good vacation. Meg's hoping to see a few princesses and I'm going to look for Prince Charming. Ha ha.

Flashback Friday

Now that I am private I dare put this picture on my flashback friday. This was at my Grandparents house (which btw, has not changed in all these years) I thought it would have been at Thanksgiving time except for some cousins are wearing shorts. Anyway, this is classic hairstyles of the early 90's. Mine is looking especially fluffy that day.
