I do know the answer!

We are driving in the car tonight and Isabel asks this question:
I: Mom, I have a question and I don't know if you will know the answer or not. How do the babies get into the moms tummy?
Me: Um...I know the answer to that...I'll explain it later.
I: Why not now?
Me: Just later will be better.
Then Mattison chimes in with Isabel to explain. You see Jesus comes at night when the moms are sleeping and puts the baby in the moms tummy. He has a little ball and opens your bellybutton and puts the ball in there.
So...thankfully my kids still have some innocence.

Preschool Graduation

Is it really called preschool graduation when you are in the 3 year old class and going back to the 4 year old class the next year? I wouldn't think so, but that's what they called it.

Meg "graduated" from 3 year old class last Thursday. She is so funny. They put on a little program of songs and of course she just sat there looking around, not singing or doing anything. Why is it when my kids have to perform they suddenly become mute?
Here is Meg with her teachers Miss Gina and Miss Tana.
Cousin Ethan got in on the festivities.
And here is Meg during the perfomace. She has that constipated nervous look on her face.

Oh and FYI Matt, who obviously doesn't read this blog, no Meg is not going to kindergarten next year, and you should feel stupid for asking her that!

Bleh....

I'm in a blogging slump. I think there are a few reasons. 1) work makes me busy 2) not many pictures have been taken lately 3) facebook occupies my time 4) now that I'm private I just feel like I don't have my "huge" audience checking in on me. I know what you are thinking...did you really have an audience? I don't know, but I'm a blog stalker so I like to think that I had a few stalkers. One day I'll get a new blog, without that dumb "m" attached to my address and it won't be private.

So here is the run down on what's been going on. Isabel tried out for competition soccer and made it. Which I am glad for several reasons. I think it will be fun, and she will be busy with that so on those weekends when the girls will be with Matt hopefully he will come up here so I know they are in a safe environment. Better at the grandparents house then the Vegas ghetto apartment where he lives.

Meg is having her preschool graduation. The girls are finishing up school next week. I'm not sure how excited I am. They haven't had a whole summer off in a long time. We'll see how we adjust to 3 long months.

The girls had to spend the weekend with Matt and his wife. That would be my bleh. Since my blog is private I'm going to say that I hate it. I hate that she is infiltrating my family and being with my girls, when let's face it...she doesn't have the best morals, and obviously Matt doesn't either. I don't want to be the "bitter ex", but really it just disgusts me. That's where this comes in....
But I'll survive. I'm just collecting some big rocks!

Wishing we were swimming

I'm sitting up in Utah listening to my friends in Vegas tell horror stories of heat and turning on their Air Conditioning. It reminded me of this post and how I was so happy to be outside with the kids swimming. Now, I'm in the crazy Utah spring wishing that it were a little warmer and I could be out in the sun laying by a pool getting a tan. Instead, I'm just waiting for the heat so I can wear my capris. Luckily, by the end of this week it should be in the 80's, so I'm crossing my fingers that I'll be sporting those capris and tanning those legs.

Here are some fun pics of the kids swimming while we were in Florida. The pool wasn't heated and it wasn't too warm. That's why you don't see any pics of me. Uncle Mike was crazy enough to spend a lot of time in the pool with the kids.

Not so Wordless Wednesday

Okay people....these are NOT people I am dating or have dated. These are just a few of the "choice" people that are on my dating website. Yes, it is an LDS website. It's pretty scary out there. So send me your single friends and save me from the wacky, wierd and crazy single men out there. It's time for you as my friends to step it up and find me a man.

Muchas Gracias!

Tyler's Baptism

We were lucky this last weekend to get to see Isabel's best buddy from Vegas, Tyler, get baptized. They did it in Salt Lake so we were able to go. Here are the kids after the baptism.

Meg and Garrett giving eachother hugs.

Isabel and Tyler were way to "cool" for hugs.
