Back to School

Mattison and Isabel went back to school this morning. We went over to a friends for a doughnut breakfast and then were all going to walk to school. Unfortunately, it rained all night and into the morning, so we couldn't walk. Isabel was excited to start 1st grade with her buddy Tyler and Mattison was less excited to start 3rd grade. She has caught on to the fact that school is long and you have to do lots of work. We are sure it will be an eventful year full of fun and friends.

CRAZY BROTHERS

Matt recieved some UFC tickets and decided to invite his brother Jared down to go with him. (sidenote: Kristen is thankful that Matt found someone to go with that would really enjoy seeing fighting and blood). Jared got to go to work with Matt and drive all over Las Vegas (literally). Oddly enough, they even decided to do some circut training at the studio and thought they would both die from working out. What is that about anyway-- a trainer and former bodybuilder getting sick from working out too hard (just kidding guys). Before they left to Mandalay Bay for the fight we got a picture of them. I think they are putting on their "fighting faces". Hopefully they survive the fight.

Potty Training

Kristen has been going a little crazy this week trying to potty train Meg. It took all day Monday to get her to make it to the toilet and actually do something on it. Unfortunately we are still trying to remember how to do it again. Many hours in the bathroom and cleaning up have been going on this week. We need all the encouragement we can get. It looks as if Meg might win the "who took the longest to potty train" award.

High School Musical Party

Mattison and Isabel had a fun party on Friday night with their friends Ashlyn and Gracie. They had pizza and ice cream sundaes and watched High School Musical 2. They even made signs and hung up posters all over for the celebration. Meg even got up and did a few dances for us.

Elvis has left the building

We are pleased to report that Matt has finally had time to get a haircut. It took months of pleading and trying to squeeze time in his busy schedule. We are sure his parents will be happy.

Meg got a new haircut a few weeks ago and now thinks she is a princess. Of course we think she is (most of the time).

Getting Started

We just learned about blogging from our good friends the Drapers and decided to try it out. Here are some fun pictures of the girls at Fitness Together. They love to play on the equpiment and occasionally get hurt on the treadmill. We are thinking of suing the owners. ha! ha!

Great time in Utah

We just got back from a long stay in Utah. We had a lot of fun going to the county fair and riding trains and seeing animals. Isabel even lost a tooth while we were in Utah. We did lots of fun things with cousins. We went to Idaho to a reunion and went to Grandpa Callister's Farm. We went rollerskating for the first time at Classic Skating with Kodi and Kali. We listened to Hannah Montana with Jasmine. We played the the backyard with Ethan. It is always fun to go to Utah and visit, but nice to get back to Vegas and see friends we missed.
