What we have been doing

Isabel has found my camera and has enjoyed taking self-portraits.

Snickers went to the Vet and got shots. She did great...didn't even cry. Mattison, on the other hand, just about did. Snickers now weighs 3 lb. 14 oz.
Meg went to Chuck E. Cheese with her cousin Kortni. She loved this clown ride. I think she is pretending to be scared in this picture.
Here's Meg with Kortni.
And for all of you interested, the sports bra has been working great. The "girls" have never looked better at the gym.

Meg's Impressed

Not that this picture has anything to do with this post...I just found it again on my camera and remembered how much I LoVe it. Could it be the clip-clop pink shoes? Could it be the red dress with leggings covered with the purple princess sweatshirt? Could it be that cute Minnie Mouse hat? It could be because of that look and pose of "I'm a model" that Meg is sporting. Probably all of the above and the fact that I even let her wear that outfit in public.
But on to the real reason of this post. Meg is completely potty trained, however, she does like me to "help her out" a bit in the bathroom. I don't know if she just wants to have some conversations in there with me or doesn't want to do the "dirty work". But apparently she is really proud of me and my "bathroom skills" because I overheard her talking to my mom saying, "My mom goes to bathroom all by herself." I'm still a rockstar.

Bloggers block

I can't think of what to post...not much new going on here. Just hanging out, kids going to school, getting diet vanilla cokes by myself...missing my sonic buddy. So the big excitement around here can only be my new sports bra. It's got a little padding. I'm pretty excited to use it. Maybe my next post will be how well it held up the "goods".
Aren't you glad I posted it on a mannequin and not on me ;)

We've all been sporting our "Puffy Coats"

It's just too cold not to wear them.

Fun Stuff

Here's what's been happening (minus any pics...I haven't taken any lately). Mattison and Isabel started school. They have extended day here where some kids come to school at 8:00 and do reading and writing and then at 9:15 the other kids come and do all other subjects. The 8:00 group leaves at 2:15 and the others stay until 3:30 to do their reading and writing. Lucky for us the girls got that darn 8:00 schedule. I was pulling Mattison out of bed this morning to get them there by the 7:55 first bell. Not to mention the 8 inches of snow we have received in the last two days. It makes getting to and from school interesting.

Meg started her new preschool today. Her school is on the top of a steep hill and the teacher told me last week "in case of inclement weather go around another way". Well I thought I understood her directions and didn't, so Meg and I tried climbing that steep hill and couldn't make it. Luckily her teacher saw us and got in her 4 wheel drive and drove down the hill to pick Meg up. Meg said she had fun, but still misses Ms. Jackie.

I got pulled over by a cop the other day speeding down a hill. Luckily I turned on the tears and he let me off. I never thought I would do that...but it worked.

We are enjoying Utah so far though, but still freezing and doing a lot of snow removal.

Sunbeams

Today my baby joined the ranks of the "big kids" in primary. I tried to get a picture of her with her new primary teacher, but she just wouldn't do it. She kept running down the hall the other way. Lucky for me I know her teacher well...because it's me. That's right, Sunbeam teacher. I'm really not complaining because anyone who knows me knows that I am usually wandering the halls looking for a place in primary I can substitute so I don't have to go to the dreaded Gospel Doctrine class. Obviously the Bishop here did not get the memo that I wanted the primary pianist calling (the best calling in the world) so I will have to just learn to love being with those little 3 year olds.

Mattison and Isabel seemed to enjoy thier new primary teachers this year. Now it's on to the schools to get the girls enrolled. We are hoping that they have more recess time!
