Rexburg Temple and Sprinklers

While we were in Idaho for the day we decided to stop by and see the new Rexburg temple. And later we stopped by a family reunion to eat some free dinner. While we were there Mattison and I (and Isabel a little bit) decided to play in the sprinklers in the field.

This picture is out of order, but I really didn't feel like reloading all the pictures. Here is Mattison getting completely soaked.

Catching up with the Drapers

Our good friends the Drapers were up in Idaho visiting for a family reunion. We decided that they were just way to close not to drive up and see them. We haven't seen them since they moved away from Vegas to Nebraska 2 years ago. My camera wasn't working at first so we used a little digital camera so the quality of pics aren't so great in some of the pictures.

Mattison and Makayla. They first started hanging out when they were 4.

Isabel and Dylan....they are the same age and have been buddies since they were 2.

When we left my girls said "that was so fun mom". It was totally worth the hours driving in the car. We love those guys.

Isabel's Birthday

We didn't have a big party for Isabel's birthday, but we did get to Jump on It and Baskin Robbins.

Ethan got some ice cream that turned his teeth blue.

Meg always gives us a big "cheese".

Isabel loves those big Costco cupcakes so she opted for those for her cake this year.

I Needed a New Post....Thanks Cheryl

I love that I have friends who are open enough to remind me to update my blog. I know my blog has taken a backseat lately and I really have no excuse.

So here are the 4th of July pictures from the parade. I love a parade and the weather was PERFECT for a parade. It was only in the 80's...love that. We even got a good seats!

Here is Mattison...of course refusing to look at the camera. Isn't her hair great?

Oh and Isabel also decided that she did not need to look at the camera for the picture. I am so glad we got a good shot of the back of her head and the street and those tiny people accross the way.

Ahhh..but Princess Meg will always smile for me.

And she will even join me in a picture.

Last night we were going to go camping with some friends. We had decided on Monday to go and when we checked out camping sites we found that we couldn't get one on such short notice. We ended up hiking up to Stewart Falls instead. It was fun.

Why are my kids so goofy for pictures? They won't just pose normally all at the same time.

Oh and one last thing. Can I just say "thank you" to all my friends who gave me permission to make-out on the last Wordless Wednesday. You are all right...I dang well should do it.
