Another Visit to Vegas

We made a little visit to one of our favorite places over Fall Break. It was spectacular. I mean, really if you can find people like this walking around, why wouldn't you love Vegas. Btw...his cymbal says "status cymbal" and I think the cymbal on the front said "sex cymbal". After I snapped this pic I tried to chase him down to get a pic with him but we lost him in the crowd.

I went out to Serendipity with some fab girls. We had some yummy deserts there...and then we did a little people watching.
This is their famous frozen hot chocolate. It was pretty good.

What up Melissa?

The girls were in heaven playing with their friends. They miss them so much. It was so great for me to be able to hang out with my friends and be a "stay at home mom" again. We went to McDonald's one day and the park the next day. The kids had a sleepover with thier friends and played with them for 2 days straight. It was like old times! Moms, appreciate every moment that you have to be a stay at home mom. I wish I could go back to living that life, even though it can be stressful it's the best job in the world. Don't take it for granted.

Meggy and Garrett

The kids at McD's.

We were able to hang out with our old neighbors Ms. Ashlee and Mr. Jeremy. The girls love them so much. It was fun to see them. The last time we were there they were out of town. We went to Ci Ci's pizza and the girls got some cool balloon animals. Ashlee is the awesome girl I went to Barry Manilow with last September.

Halloween Cruise and The Canyon Part II

Last Wednesday we went to a Single Parent/Kid activity. We went on a little "spooky" Halloween Cruise on the Provo River. It was a little cheesy, but the kids had fun with their friends and so did I.Here we are on the boat. Isabel was a little scared thinking that she might fall in the river. Ha ha! I'm with my BFF Adam. He is the master planner of tons of singles events, and he knows everyone. That's why I love hanging with him....he's got all the connections, and he's super fun. He is also making me write a post about him so Adam, this post is dedicated to you ;) Now people, we don't make out, we don't date eachother so there is no need for any rumors or questions.
Meggy Boo with Kade!

Mattison and Hailey before the boat ride. That's some cheese Mattison.

We went up the canyon again on Saturday. We were going to go on a hike to a waterfall and then I got info that the hike was a little steep and I decided that since I hate hiking we would go on a nature walk up the canyon instead.

I think in this picture the kids were hearing a story about about wild beavers or dead people being hidden in the moutains.

We took my sister's little boy Ethan with us. After we had been hiking for awhile he really needed to pee. So we told him to go pee behind a tree. He was not so keen on that idea. In fact here was his statement "Animals pee outside and I'm not an animal". Freaking Hilarious!
Did I mention I love the Fall?

We don't want to eat fish!

During sessions of Conference on Sunday we went for a drive up the canyon to see the leaves. Unfortunately it was raining so we only got out for a little bit. Look at my kids in their shorts...they still think they are living in Vegas.

While we were driving up there past some cabins and houses I said to my kids "We should move up here. Wouldn't that be cool?"

Here was their reply... "No, because we would have to fish all day and eat fish all the time and we don't like fish".

p.s. Meg got some new cowgirl boots, which I LoVe! She loves to boogie in them too.

Hooray for Fall!

Can I just tell you how great it is to be in Utah for Fall. I haven't had it in 7 years and I love the weather and the leaves changing. Last night we went up to Gardner's Village and had a good time looking around the shops. They have a bunch of Witches around and a stage for dancing (and Meg did bust a move on it) and Halloween music and yummy food. I love Halloween so it was awesome. A lot of people dress up in witch costumes too. I did not know this, but will for sure be dressing up next time. I got some awesome witchy glasses and socks! Unfortunately my camera batteries died so I only got one pic while I was there.

Before we went to Gardner Village we went to Chick-Fil-A to eat. My kids have never been there to eat, but they loved the waffle fries.
Meg is so funny with the bunny ears.
Traci and I went to the General Womens Broadcast in SLC. It was fun to go up there. I haven't ever been to the Conference Center. We asked this little old lady to take our pic. After she took it she said "oh, it's so cute" Ummm...not really. It looks like we weren't ready for the pic.
After the broadcast we went out to eat and went to a little movie called "FAME". I loved the dancing scene at the end.
p.s. I enjoyed all the company at the movie and yes....I cropped out the picture to make you wonder!

Soccer Season is Over

Green Fusion....
You had a great season. One win, one tie and some really great losses!

The last game was on Tuesday and Isabel's team played the number one team. We figured we would get killed, but our girls played hard. The other team was pretty dang annoying whenever they scored a goal and then did cartwheels. They were so annoying in fact, that when we scored a goal against them some of the parents ran onto the field and did a few cartwheels! Hmmmm....take that Lightening!
