Here is a picture of me in first grade. The dress is one from my uncles wedding and my cousins and I had dresses that were the same just different colors. It is so awesome because it is a long dress that goes to my shoes. I think I had a lot of those back in the day. I still have the dress in my closet so maybe I'll break it out and let Isabel wear it.

I had a dress that was similar and I remember wanting to have my kids wear it. I look back and laugh that I thought that...not that Meg wouldn't look adorable in it!
I really like this dress. I wish I had one too. And what? No scanner yet? Just kidding. We have one and it won't work.
I remember helping Grandma make all those dresses. It was for Don's wedding. Didn't Karen get a little one? I guess her Mom wasn't there to make one for her. I know I made Julie one that was the same color as Stacey's. They all had swedish embroidery on the front.

I take that back. I don't see the embroidery on yours. Maybe they didn't all have it.

Too cute! I had a grandma that would make me and my cousin the same dress only different colors, but with monograms on the front! Funny what we thought was cool! My monogram was better than yours LOL!
Your ruby red shoes would go great with this dress!
No way I had the same dress with the red checks and frills. Crazy!
We had a lot of dresses like that that I wore twice - first mine, then Stacey's hand-me-downs. My Grandma Bauer made matching barettes for our dresses, and I still have a lot of them. The girls think they are beautiful. I didn't ever realize your hair was so long when you were younger. You look great.
I love it! I loved the long dresses! We need to get back to that!
That dress and your Mork & Mindy lunch box! Those are some of my earliest memories of you! ;)
UMMM... why is everyone talking about your dress, and not that little baby you have floating around on your blog? Whats the deal?!!! We need some more info!
I'm guessing it was an uncle on your dad's side because our uncles were all married before you were in 1st grade, right? Unless it was Lee's wedding. Ironically, I have that same dress that went down to my shoes, too! Crazy!
Sorry, now that I've read Grace's post, I see it was Don's wedding. Anyway, everybody has that dress it sounds like, but no one looks as hot as you, with that long hair! Love it!
