Last Friday we went up to the Oquirrah Temple Open House. You know how as a mother you think, "wow this is going to be so special for them" and the kids say "why do we have to go". It still was great and beautiful and I think the kids enjoyed themselves. There were some great cookies at the end with tons of chocolate chips...makes it worth it to kids.
Don't you love the pink crocs Meg is wearing? Umm...I don't but didn't feel like arguing over it!

Where did the name for the temple come from? I still remember going through the West Jordan Temple.
I loved Garrett's comment...we said what was your favorite part? He said the stairs. Profound impact I'd say.
The name comes from the Oquirrh mountains that are on the west side of SLC and basically the temple is in the foothills of the mountains.
You are wise not to argue over the crocs. Your dress looks great and comfortable too!
