Tonight while I was driving in the car to Target with the girls one of the best Christmas songs of all time came on....Last Christmas, you know by Wham. When I started dancing Mattison told me "Mom, according to Diary of a Wimpy Kid parents can't dance within 30 feet of their kids". Excuse me? 30 feet? I think not.I had to remind her that it could be worse, I could be singing "All the Single Ladies" by Beyonce. Which, by the way, I did sing to my students on Wednesday.

oh well since Diary of a Wimpy kid is the BIBLE then I guess that is a new rule! :)

Anyway, my kids are the only ones who ever get to hear my sing or see me dance. I just don't have the self-confidence to share that side of me with anyone else, but I'm glad you do because it makes you lots of fun. I would like to have seen you dancing along in your minivan, and I hope you didn't crash.
I guess since you admitted it, I will too; "Last Christmas" by, Wham, definetly in my top 5 fav Christmas songs!! Love George Michael and Wham! Now that I have that off my chest....you ARE a great dancer and being embarrassed by your parents is just part of being a kid.

Apparently my 2 good friends need a Christmas music INTERVENTION! I am going to lock you two in a room and play Josh Groban, Carpenters, Amy Grant and MoTab until you admit that the Wham song is CRAP! :)
