Mattison's birthday

How terrible is it when you finally download photos and realize that you didn't even post a birthday that happened at the beginning of the month? It's terrible. Happy Birthday to Mattison, way back on the 4th of November. I can't believe it...11. I'm way to young to have an 11 year old. Ha ha! I love your guts Mattison!

Bad Words

It's true. I have a potty mouth. Sometimes I just can't help it. It's gotten worse over the last year. I use the excuse that I got divorced and I have a reason to use it. I think that when I hit my one year mark I am going to have to clean up my mouth. That's my goal anyway...but until then, I apologize to anyone who I have offended or will offend with my language.

Funny conversation at dinner though. Isabel says, "Mom is p-i-s-s-t (that is how she spelled it) a bad word". I mostly laughed from the way she spelled it. ha ha. Then Meg says "the 's' word is a bad word". So I say "Meg, what is the 's' word?" She wouldn't tell me. I think it's because she didn't really know it. She then proceeds to tell us that the "h" word and the "d" word are also bad. I'm just glad that she doesn't actually know what comes after the "h" the "d" and the "s" in those words, because I'm not going to lie....she has heard them all come out of my potty mouth.

Really?

Really....I have nothing of interest to add to my blog, but I realized I am a boring blogger and I hate being boring. So here goes an update.

I'm getting my hair colored today. Yay! I'm hoping that it isn't too dark. I hate being Spanish Lolita until it fades.

Yesterday one of my students found some microwave popcorn. Since there wasn't a microwave available he decided to do a little experiment to see if you could pop it with the overhead projector. FYI, it doesn't work.

Our dog Snickers got stung by a bee.

Yesterday I got booted out of Mattison's phonebook on her cell phone. Apparently when you make your kids go to school when they don't want to that's what happens. Just a warning for you mothers who DARE send your kids to school.

Isabel wakes up at the crack of dawn everyday. She doesn't want to be late to school so she puts her clothes up on the top bunk with her at night. Then in the morning it's super easy to put your clothes on before you even get out of bed.

Meg made my moms bed yesterday. It looked almost as good as a full-grown adult making it. I'm putting her on my bed making duty.
